From Renovation to a Fully Furnished Workspace
A renovation, furnished mid-construction
When Bayou Electrical began renovating its two-story Houston office, OFC was brought in to furnish the newly updated space, from the front lobby to the break room.
Our team coordinated furniture delivery and installation while construction was still underway, working around contractors, ongoing improvements, and tight project deadlines to help bring the finished workspace together.
New where it counts, pre-owned where it makes sense
OFC blended new and pre-owned furniture to stretch the budget without compromising the finished look. Forty-one remanufactured Knoll Morrison workstations with height-adjustable desks and 95 pre-owned Haworth Zody task chairs fill the open office. OFC also supplied four pre-owned Haworth private offices as-is, and Bayou Electrical kept costs down further by reusing some of its own existing private office furniture.
Four 80" high demountable private offices were built from remanufactured Knoll Morrison panels with lockable doors. Because they are furniture rather than construction, they needed no additional lighting, HVAC or permanent walls, and they can be reconfigured or relocated whenever the company's needs change, whether that's next year or ten years from now.
Custom pieces that set the tone
Our in-house woodshop built the signature pieces: a reception desk with warm wood slat detailing, matching credenza with built for a mini fridge, built-in cabinetry for the owner's office, and the kitchen cabinetry in the break room. NXTWall framed glass with a sliding door, parsons-height collaboration tables, new conference and meeting areas, and stools for the break room complete the space.
