Cleared, Built, Delivered in 43 Days

Refreshing this municipal administrative office required a careful balance: minimizing downtime for staff, coordinating with the construction team’s schedule, and delivering a complete refresh across three floors within just 43 days. In addition to the aggressive timeline, the project was driven by fiscal year-end budget requirements, making both cost and schedule critical to success.

Another key goal was to create a standardized package of finishes and furniture solutions for both workstations and private offices. This ensures that as the department grows or future needs arise, the client can easily reorder the same products with consistent finishes and configurations—saving time, reducing cost, and maintaining a cohesive look across their facilities.

OFC partnered directly with the client’s project team to develop new standards that could be implemented quickly and cost-effectively. Over 100 of the client’s existing workstations and task chairs were carefully disassembled by our installation team and delivered to the client’s offsite storage facility for surplus use. This allowed construction and flooring work to proceed without delay. Once complete, OFC installed 172 remanufactured Knoll Currents workstations, new task chairs, and outfitted the training areas with premium pre-owned tables and seating.

The result was a refreshed municipal office that blends modern functionality with long-term standardization, cost savings and sustainability. By managing every aspect from sourcing and remanufacturing to project management and installation, OFC minimized staff disruption and delivered on time and on budget, while also equipping the client with a repeatable standard for future projects..
