Building New, Renewing Old

Creating modern work environments across two sites required different approaches: a brand-new office build in La Porte, Texas, and the renovation of an existing facility in Seabrook, Texas. Both locations required an efficient use of space, supporting high occupancy and productivity without sacrificing comfort or functionality - delivered on schedule and within budget.

This multi-location project combined remanufactured Knoll workstations, OFC’s in-house millwork, and new furniture to create cohesive, functional offices while keeping every aspect local. The centerpiece was the CONNECT Series—custom millwork for private offices that paired remanufactured Knoll filing with new laminate fronts, overheads, and bookcases, ensuring a unified, high-quality design across both locations.

Phase 1 featured 17 custom private offices and 16 remanufactured Knoll workstations, along with café tables, training and conference tables, reception furniture, and seating throughout the space. Phase 2 involved a complete teardown and removal of existing furniture (was this furniture a decommission? or straight to the dumpster?), which was replaced with 61 remanufactured Knoll workstations, a CONNECT standing height storage wall equipped with electrical to function as a IT computer testing and repair area, a conference table, and seating throughout the space —combining practicality with a sleek, cohesive design.

Handling the project in two phases made it especially beneficial to work with a local company. OFC was on the ground managing every aspect from sourcing and design to delivery and installation. The project was streamlined, minimizing disruptions and maintaining control from start to finish with no punch list items to finalize at the end. That's great management.

By combining local craftsmanship, remanufactured materials, and flexible solutions, OFC delivered a workspace that blends contemporary style with practical, future-ready features while meeting today’s needs and allowing room to grow in the future.
