From Visionary Builder to Collaborative Workspace
We had the pleasure of partnering with Vecino Homes, and let us tell you—this was a fun project to watch from inception to completion. When owner Jeff Sturman, of Vecino Homes, came to us with his furniture needs and shared his vision, we knew instantly this would be a grand slam. The concept was so inspiring that even members of our own OFC team kept asking for updates, eager to see how it would all come together.
Having worked in shared office environments, Jeff recognized the opportunity to create something better—an inspired co-working hub with the amenities entrepreneurs, small teams, and growing businesses need to thrive. Partnering with interior designer Antonella Torres (CEO of VIARQ Designers), his vision was transformed into a space that balances hospitality, functionality, and design. Together, they crafted every detail—from the early renderings to the custom millwork that gives the space its unique character.
When it came time to furnish and finish the project, OFC was brought in to collaborate on furniture sourcing and execution. Jeff and Antonella had a clear sense of direction, and OFC contributed select custom millwork and furnishings to complement their design.
The scope featured standout pieces, including a custom circular planter with an integrated collaboration table, a custom linear planter with a built-in seating counter, modular puzzle-style training tables, and a floating conference table with a tapered base, paired with new conference seating. To support flexible office layouts, we also provided a range of tailored desks, pre-owned task chair seating, a pre-owned phone booth for private calls, and an enclosed collaboration booth with double seating that serves as a meeting table.
The result is a coworking environment that feels closer to a boutique hotel than a traditional office, offering reception and lounge areas, a wellness room, a podcast studio, collaborative spaces, and offices ranging from single-person suites to team rooms for up to 12 people. By combining OFC’s craftsmanship with Vecino Homes’ and VIARQ’s creative leadership, the project delivered a one-of-a-kind workspace that showcases how collaboration can bring a bold vision to life.
